145 - Pride Month 2020 Pt 5 -2001 Maniacs (2005) - Apparently the South Rises Every Year

Pride Month of 2020 comes to an end with 2001 Maniacs! As the confederate statues are getting taken down, as they should, the south is rising with Mayor Buck and his sons of varying intelligence to dispense some southern hospitality for guts and glory. Directed by Tim Sullivan but with less music than “i was a teenage were-bear” this is a rip roaring, hooting hollering good old time, and a strong finish to our first Pride Month.
